Co-founder of Wyldwood Arts, Georgina Densley, recently started working for us again to help raise the funds to deliver our various projects. We caught up with her to find out what she gets up to, when she is working and when she is off the clock.
Wyldwood Arts: So, for the reader, can you tell us who you are?
George Densley: George, Georgina, G, Mum or Mummmmyyyyyyyyy depending on who’s asking
WW: Haha, I better stick to George! Where are you based?
GD: North Somerset
WW: And what do you do at Wyldwood Arts?
GD: I am a co-founder and Director. I am currently working as Development Director and looking at the fundraising side of the organisation.
WW: A very important job! Can you tell me who inspires you?
GD: Leslie Knope
WW: Great, I am a big fan of Leslie Knope! What is your favourite place in the world and why?
GD: Welcombe, North Devon. But that’s a secret really as it’s a hidden gem. I spent holidays there as a child and it reminds me of childhood and family.
WW: That’s lovely, though I’m afraid it’s not a secret anymore. Do you have any hobbies?
GD: Asking small children to find their shoes.
WW: Which four individuals, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most?
GD: My dad, Roald Dahl, JK Rowling, Shirley Hughes
WW: Books or films?
GD: I fall asleep before being able to attempt either!
WW: What is your favourite book/film?
GD: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Peter Pan.
WW: Quite a diverse pair of films, that’s great. What’s the coolest thing you are working on right now?
GD: I am writing a children’s book (slowly!)
WW: Amazing, that’s so exciting, let us know when it’s ready! Here’s a very silly question for you… which superhero do you most identify with?
GD: Super Ted. Cuddly and not particularly athletic or intimidating!
WW: Perfect, and can you sum up working for Wyldwood Arts in 3 words!
GD: Bright, Friendly, Kind
